2023 Show layout
Trade Stands: The traders will be in the main hall and drama studio, with MAFVA branches and visiting clubs on the ground floor in the main hall and drama studio.

2023 MAFVA National Competition: The competition area will be upstairs. Competition entries are £1 for adults (£2.00 for non MAFVA members), free for juniors (up to age 16). In addition to the MAFVA competition classes, there will be open classes for non-members.

Model broken in transit? Repair it at the Model Repair Station.
Refreshments On the ground floor is a bar that will be serving hot and cold drinks plus a variety of snacks. There is also a café next door in the Sports Hall.
Bring & Buy: The Bring & Buy will be upstairs in the Aquarius Room.
Membership and back issues desk, the tombola and others will be in the foyer.
Entry
Entry for paid-up MAFVA members will be free, (you will be able to re-subscribe on the door). Adult non-members will pay £5.00, while entry for accompanied children (under 16) is £2.00.

By car:
The two main routes are:
- From the A14, turn off at Junction 24. Take A1307 through Fenstanton and at junction 26 turn left and take the A1096 overpass loop to St. Ives. Turn left at the second roundabout into Meadow Lane and follow the one-way system via Cromwell Place and Oliver Road into East Street, turn right into Globe Place, first left into North Road, right into Ramsey Road, first left into Westwood Road and follow to Burgess Hall.
- From the A1/A1(M), take the A141. Continue to Hartford and join the A1123 to St Ives. At the traffic lights in St Ives turn right into Ramsey Road, then second right into Westwood Road and follow to Burgess Hall.
There is a large car park just outside the hall, but as this is shared with the Sports Hall we ask all drivers to park responsibly. Traders will be parking on the adjacent tennis courts.
CHECK YOUR ROUTE BEFORE TRAVELLING. THE A14 HAS CHANGED SINCE LAST YEAR. MISS THE TURNING AND YOU ARE IN FOR A LONG DETOUR! Check on Google maps or use Wayz. DON’T follow your sat-nav unless it has recently been updated!
By public transport:
The main east coast railway line passes through Huntingdon, which is the nearest railway station to St Ives and is between 45 minutes and an hour from London. Buses run from Huntingdon to St Ives. You are advised to check timetables before departing.
Cambridge, Huntingdon and St Ives are connected by the guided Busway.
